Supporting and encouraging peace, justice, solidarity and cooperation among all human beings. Promoting economic and ecological development among human beings, in order to achieve life in harmony with the environment. Encouraging the principles of reciprocity, cooperation, friendship, support and reciprocal assistance.
FIAU is a volunteer organization. Every person involved, from the president to the child who learns to read and write through a FIAU initiative in a small village in a developing nation, is a volunteer. No one is reimbursed for their efforts. The funds donated to FIAU go entirely to fund the projects. Not one person is paid. We work to improve the social situation because when one person suffers, we all suffer. We work to improve the social situation because in doing so, we improve our own situation.
